Take a tour on foot! We have hiking activities suitable for all ages and physical abilities. You can start with a tour of our 22 acres of landscaped gardens. Using the “Flora and Fauna Guide” you will be able to identify many of the plants and animals found in the immediate area and there are many, many more!

Further a field, you can take a more challenging hike to the North side of the island - a hike along the beach and up a river bed through the jungle, through the Port Royal Park & Wildlife Reserve. This reserve contains the largest contiguous portion of pine in Honduras. Your guide will identify plant and tree species that are useful for medicine and food, and hopefully sight several bird, insect and reptile species. Lunch is at Paya Bay or Diamond Rock, with local island cooking and a refreshing swim off the beach. Hike back along the dirt road to the south side of Roatan  for pick up at the dock and return to Mango Creek.

For another hiking adventure, you can jump in the skiffs and your guide will start the hike at the west end dock at the island of Helene. Hike along edge of the mangroves and to interior of Helene Island. Walk through a beautiful Palm grove, see the parrot trees and Helene caves. Lunch at Helene village or the fabulous Pigeon Keys and snorkel off the beach.
