Sailing is very much a part of Mango Creek. Both the owners and the managers are well-seasoned sailors, having separately circumnavigated the globe aboard their own private sailboats. Thus, sailing is as much a lifestyle as it is a hobby here. 

While you're staying with us, there is plenty of opportunity to take any of our boats out for a cruise around Port Royal.

For those of you with little sailing knowledge, a quick lesson from one of our guides will show you the basics of controlling your sail and steering the boat. We currently have two Hobie Bravo sailboats on hand that are designed specifically for novices. They're light, quick, easy to use, and fun for everyone. With room for two, they're a great way to spend an afternoon.

People looking for a little more action and speed will want to take out the 14' Hobie that's sitting on the beach and ready to go. Responsive and fast, this boat can move! In a light wind, its a great way to tour around the harbor, and under more gusty conditions, test your nerves and see how far you can hike out to get here flying a hull.

All the boats are available for use, and with a steady breeze almost always coming out of the east, nearly every day is a good day for sailing.
