Day Fishing at Mango Creek Lodge
If you’re coming to Roatan but not
staying on the East End, you can
still explore the saltwater flats
with Mango Creek Lodge by booking a
day of
fishing. Our day-fishing package
includes guided fishing, a warm
breakfast, sack lunch, drinks, and
transfers to and from the town of
Oak Ridge.
Your guide will pick you up at BJ’s
Backyard in Oak Ridge early in the
day (normally 7 a.m.) before
whisking you off to a nearby flat.
After a bit of fishing, you’ll stop
by the lodge for a warm breakfast
and quick tour. Your guide will
gather your lunch and drinks, and
you’ll head back out on the water
for the remainder of the day. Your
guide will drop you back off at BJ’s
around 5 p.m.
Your hotel can help you arrange taxi
service for drop-off and pick-up in
Oak Ridge. If you need help, we can
recommend or arrange a taxi for you.
Day-Fishing Rates
Single: $250 per person per day
Double: $200 per person per day
Non-fishing companion: $20 per
person per day
Cruise Ship Visitors
Although we would love to host
cruise-ship visitors for day fishing
at Mango Creek Lodge, logistics and
time constraints make such
arrangements impossible. Mango Creek
Lodge is located on the far end of
the island from the cruise ship
docks, and transportation time
occupies much of the already-short
time ashore. In the time remaining,
we don’t believe we are able to
offer the quality of service you
deserve. If you are visiting on a
cruise ship and want to explore our
saltwater flats, please keep us in
mind for a future vacation.
